Shawna Potter is a trained and accredited Intimacy Coordinator for film/TV, theater, photo shoots, and music videos. She has a strong background in crisis response and bystander intervention and enjoys helping actors tell dark and complicated stories.
Shawna is also the author of Making Spaces Safer: A Guide to Giving Harassment the Boot Wherever You Work, Play, and Gather, a practical guide based on her Safer Space Program, and the front-person for Baltimore band War On Women. Through her music and her work, Shawna has been empowering people to make their communities more fun and inclusive for over a decade.
She also hosts the podcast But Her Lyrics… (supported by her incredible Patreon community), is ordained to perform wedding ceremonies, and runs Big Crunch Amp Repair.
