Krystal McRae is a writer, activist, New Yorker, music lover and foodie. She runs the independent site “Scenes From the Underground,” and also throws shows under the same name, covering and working with bands in NYC and beyond. Her ethos is “good bands and good people,” and making space for those who may not necessarily be with the “in crowd.”

When she isn’t writing about new music on paper, or screaming about social justice issues on social media,  you can also see her catch her on “Blonde Music News” talking about new music mixed with social justice as well.
