I’ll be appearing on this virtual panel, hosted by United Way of Central Maryland and their Emerging Leaders United program. Part II will focus on harassment against women and the LGBTQIA+ communities. Register for this session at the link below the full description.
Join ELU for a special two-part series, How to Be a Good Bystander, aimed to empower attendees to use their voice as part of a movement to end harassment in public spaces. This conversational event will provide an overview of the five D’s of Bystander Intervention, and discuss ways to stop harassment based on race, sex, religion, color, gender, size, orientation, disability, age, or origin. Joining us for part one of the series are Shawna Potter of Hollaback! Baltimore, and Kate Bishop, MSSA, Education Coordinator with Chase Brexton Health Care LGTBQ Resource Center.
